Mighty Motivation

Some moorings call for smoothies in bowls: extra thick, loaded with cottage cheese and banana, spinach and pineapple. A tablespoon of rolled oats thicken it up. A teaspoon of peanut butter adds a dash of nuttiness. Salted mixed nuts on top incorporate texture, bringing a crunch to the consistency and an element of savory to the sweet.

The perfect motivation to get up and go to the gym, the beacon of light at the end of the elliptical training, the frosting on the cake.
