Milkshake Mondaze

Because it’s monday morning and we all need something to propel us forward

Because sometimes a smoothie just doesn’t cut it

Raspberry Vanilla Oreo Milkshake1 cup raspberry vanilla frozen yogurt (HäagenDazs sorbet and frozen yogurt blend)

3 crushed oreos

1 to 2 cups milk deepening on preference

I used the magic bullet blender for less than a minute to keep the thickness level at its maximum. I enjoy milkshakes most by spoon. Chris prefers his shakes by straw. Either way we both love us some milkshake movie nights. Don’t let the rather interesting combination of flavors and styles of ice cream throw you off. The fruit and chocolate blend perfectly and the sorbet component gives it a pleasant lightness.

**For a lightened up version sub in 1 cup plain non-fat or low fat yogurt, 1 frozen banana, and a cup of fresh or frozen raspberries with as little or as many oreos as you wish. In fact, that’s what I had for my post-workout breakfast. I only used 1 Oreo wafer (no filling) because cookies for breakfast are just too wild and crazy for a now 22 year old!**
