This reminds me of my breakfasts (and lunches and dinners) during that semester spent in Paris.A well rounded plate, full of tastes and textures, scents and colors. Fruits, Dairy, Fats, Vegetables, Carbohydrates, Protein, Sugars-a bonafide food pyramid/plate, and all before noon.
Fridays are special, worth that little extra. We start the day off right so that those positive waves will carry on over into the weekend. On Fridays, we don’t eat. We dine.
